Ninetowns announces acquisition and investment in Canadian digital currency mining farms Montcrypto and Skychain

According to the official website of the Ninth City, on June 4, 2021, the Ninth City of Shanghai, an Internet company in China, announced today that it has signed a formal share purchase agreement with Montcrypto Ltd. of Canada to build a 20MW power base in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The facility’s carbon-neutral mines provide a greener and more environmentally friendly power for the digital currency mining business of Ninetowns. Montcrypto is a digital currency mining company located in Calgary, Canada. Ninetowns also announced that it has completed a transaction with Skychain Technologies Inc., a Canadian listed mining company that has previously signed investment terms. Ninetowns has invested in Skychain for the expansion and operation of a digital currency mine in Bertel, Manitoba, Canada. In addition to the original power supply of 20MW, the power supply scale will be increased to 32MW. After the expansion is completed, Jiucheng will deploy digital currency mining machines here.
