Opinion: El Salvador's Bitcoin mining proposal faces many obstacles

IPS consultants stated that geothermal energy is considered the source of energy for Bitcoin mining in El Salvador. Still, it is unclear where the Booker government will obtain the energy needed to keep the "mining" computers running. The tropical climate of El Salvador, with an average daytime temperature of about 30 degrees Celsius, is not the best environment for installing computer mining equipment, and it generates a lot of heat.
