The SCT51240 is a 24V 4A wide-supply, single-channel, high-speed, low-side gate driver on the Iceriver BP-H-3640 PSU for power MOSFETs, IGBTs, and wide-bandgap devices such as GaN. The 24V rail enhances immunity to ringing at the driver output during power device transitions. Capable of switching supplies below 5V, the SCT51240 is ideal for low-voltage threshold power devices. The SCT51240 features 170°C thermal shutdown protection and operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. The SCT51240 is available in the TSOT23-5L package.

The SCT51240 can source and sink 4A peak current with rail-to-rail output drive capability. A minimum 12ns input-to-output propagation delay makes it suitable for high-frequency power converter applications. The CT51240 has wide input hysteresis and is compatible with TTL low-voltage logic.

The SCT51240 can handle negative inputs down to -5V, enhancing input noise immunity. The IN+ and IN- inputs allow the flexibility to configure the SCT51240 as a non-inverting or inverting driver. The SCT51240 has a very low quiescent current to reduce the standby power loss of the power converter. The SCT51240 gate driver is designed with a non-overlapping driver to avoid output stage breakdown.
