High-quality TMS320C6713BPYP200 digital signal processor, running at 225 MHz, can provide up to 1.35 billion floating point operations per second (MFLOPS), 1.8 billion instructions per second (MIPS), and has dual fixed-point/floating-point multiplication Each floating-point operation can perform up to 450 million times of multiplication and accumulation operations (MMACS). The two I2C ports on the TMS320C6713BPYP200 allow the DSP to easily control peripheral devices and communicate with the host processor. In addition, the standard multi-channel buffered serial port (McBSP) can be used to communicate with serial peripheral interface (SPI) mode peripherals.
