CAT24C16YI-GT3 is a 16-Kb CMOS serial EEPROM device, the internal organization is 128 pages with 16 bytes per page. The device supports standard (100 kHz) and fast (400 kHz) I2C protocols. The data is written by providing the starting address, then loading 1 to 16 consecutive bytes into the page write buffer, and then writing all the data into the non-volatile memory in an internal write cycle. Read the data by providing the starting address and then serially shifting out the data while automatically increasing the internal address count.
