Please note: The disassembly method of this article is only applicable to fixed-frequency miners such as DR5 and D5.
Tools required:
Cross screwdriver (4 mm diameter)
Hexagon screwdriver (3 mm diameter)
A pair of protective gloves
1. Disassemble the control board case.
Place the miner as shown in the figure below. Use a cross screwdriver to remove the 6 screws.
Unplug all cables (miner cable 9*2 19CM). Please refer to the red arrow sign in the image below.
Remove 14 screws.
Remove the metal sheet of the power supply.
Lift up the control board part and remove it.
2. Disassemble the hash board.
Remove the 4 screws on the metal plate on the back of the miner.
Pull the hash board out.
