How to connect Antminer E3 to Antpool?

Unlike other Antminers, E3 has a more special way to connect to the Antpool.

1. Get the ETH mining service address of Antpool:

stratum-eth.antpool.com:8008

stratum-eth.antpool.com:443

stratum-eth.antpool.com: 25

2. Apply for an ETH wallet address

Before connecting to the mining pool, you will need to apply for a wallet address for ETH coins. Your ETH wallet address will be a string of random numbers and characters, namely 0x54b2a793dea260599ea867d5dcc103d696f93157

The wallet you have applied and created must be valid and available to accept ETH, otherwise you will lose your proceeds and earnings.

3. Choose your mining mode

There are two modes of mining ETH in Ant Pool:

(1) Sub-account mining >

(2) Anonymous mining with wallet address >

There are different miner configurations and different ways to view the hash rate, payment and profit history in the Antpool in the mining model.

Sub-account mining

First, refer to the instructions in Antpool support to create an Antpool sub-account:

Then, set up your E3 in the normal way.

Log in to your miner web interface (user and password are both "root"). When you are on the "Miner Configuration" page:

Fill in the fields as stated below:

URL > Antpool URL as mentioned above >

User > 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000

A total of 42 characters must be changed, otherwise the mining pool will not be able to identify your miner.

Password > Your Antpool sub-account/worker name.

Then click "Save&Apply" to connect to the mining pools.

Use wallet address for anonymous mining

First, set up your E3 in the normal way.

Log in to your miner web interface (user and password are both "root"). When you are on the "Miner Configuration" page:

Fill in the fields as stated below:

URL > Antpool URLs as mentioned above >

User > Your ETH wallet address

Password > Default, no need to change the password.

Then click "Save&Apply" to connect to the mining pool.

Now the configuration is complete and your miner is successfully connected to Antpool. It will take about 5 to 30 minutes to start mining.
