Case 1. Insufficient miner hash rate
Abnormal performance:
·Insufficient hash rate;
·Fewer hash boards;
·Chip loss.
Reason and solution:
1. The network is unstable - replace the network cable or contact the network operator;
2. Interference or unstable power supply - do an excellent job of grounding or replacing the power supply;
3. The network cable is abnormal - re-insert the cable or replace the cable;
4. Hash board or chip problem--repair or replace with a new one.
For detailed processing methods, refer to the article: Miner hash rate not up to the rated value.
Case 2. Miner is unstable
Abnormal performance:
·Miner restarts automatically;
·Hash rate is not stable.
Reason and solution:
1. Interference or unstable power supply - be sure to ground or replace the power supply;
2. The voltage is low, or the voltage is unstable - the electrician assists in eliminating;
3. The chip is unstable, or the control board is damaged - repair or replace it with a new one;
4. Unstable network problems - network engineers are required to assist in troubleshooting.
Detailed processing method reference article: Miners are unstable.
Case 3. The miner cannot connect to the mining pool
Abnormal performance:
·The interface is not displayed;
·The status of the 3 mining pools set are all die.
Reason and solution:
1. Configuration error - reconfigure after restoring to factory settings;
2. Network abnormality - check the network or contact the network operator;
3. The mining pool is abnormal - replace the mining pool.
For detailed processing methods, refer to the article: Miners cannot connect to mining pools.
Case 4. Miners cannot upgrade or setup
Abnormal performance:
·The SD card swipe program cannot be performed;
·No display on the interface;
·Unable to set up a mining pool.
Reason and solution:
1. IE browser kernel problem - use Google or Firefox browser;
2. The SD card is not initialized normally - a strict installation tutorial operation is required;
3. Accidental power failure during the upgrade process - send it to the nearest repair center for repair;
4. The control board is abnormal - repair or replace it with a new one.
For detailed processing methods, refer to the article: Miners cannot be upgraded or setup.
Case 5. There is no data on the miners backstage
Abnormal performance:
The miner can enter backstage, but the interface has no data.
Reasons and Solutions:
1. Network failure - check the network;
2. High-temperature protection - heat dissipation and ventilation;
3. The fan is abnormal - replace the fan.
For detailed processing methods, refer to the article: There is no data on the miners backstage.
Case 6. Mining pool rejection rate
1. The rejection rate of the mining pool refers to the proportion of data rejected by the mining pool when miners send data to the mining pool to the total number of sent data.
2. This parameter can be ignored if the miner's hash rate is not affected.
3. Depending on the algorithm and hash rate, miners send data to the mining pool every few seconds or ten seconds. This data has specific requirements. When the submitted data is abnormal and does not meet the requirements of the mining pool, the mining pool will refuse to accept it, and the rejection rate of miners will increase at this time.
4. The main reason for the high rejection rate of mining pools is network instability.
5. The miner's data is sent to the mining pool server, divided into 3 nodes, the local network, the operator network, and the mining pool server. The following standard exceptions will cause the mining pool rejection rate to increase.
·Local network, generally interference, network cable virtual connection, and other problems;
·The operator network, generally the network node is unstable;
·Mining pool server, the server is abnormal.
Note: General mining pools can cooperate with the test; you can contact the mining pool customer service for processing.
