The temperature sensor chip is mainly used to sense the temperature of the hash board and its surrounding environment. According to the Antminer S17e kernel log, the wrong temp sensor (98) type indicates that the temperature sensor chip is faulty. If such a situation occurs, you can troubleshoot according to the following steps.
Troubleshooting:
Focus on checking the voltage and ground value of the No. 100 ASIC chip and the corresponding temperature sensor chip; if the voltage is abnormal, it is recommended to re-solder or replace the faulty BM1396 chip.
Test method: Use the DC gear and diode gear of the fluke17B+ multimeter, connect the red test lead to the corresponding heat sink, and use the black test lead to test.
