New S19 series control board setup instructions

Please upgrade to the latest firmware for newly purchased S19 series control boards. During this process, you may encounter one of two situations:

1. The pre-set firmware is S17

There are two ways to upgrade S17 firmware to S19 firmware: online upgrade and SD card upgrade.

No matter which method you choose, you will need to restart the control board after the upgrade. Please wait for more than 30 seconds to enable the OTP function. During this process, the power cannot be cut off, the power cut will cause the OTP function not to be turned on, and the control board will also be damaged.

*Special Note:

·Sudden power failure or less than the 30s during the OTP period will cause the control board to fail to turn on the OTP function and also cause the control board to fail to start or access the Internet. U1 (control board main control IC FPGA) needs to be replaced. U1 can no longer be used for the S19 series.

·The control board with the OTP function turned on, U1 cannot be used for other models;

·Miners who have already turned on the OTP function do not need to turn it on again.

2. The pre-set firmware is S19j Pro

In this case, the control board can be directly upgraded online to L7, D7, S19, T19, S19 Pro, S19+, S19i, S19j, S19j Pro, etc. But once the firmware is updated to one of these models, you need to flash the machine; if you want to change the firmware again, please backup the S19j Pro firmware first and perform the online upgrade accordingly.
