Antminer mining pool status is TEST troubleshooting

1. Issue description

When the new Antminer is powered on, the following issues occur:

The miner's pool is set to TEST and cannot be changed.

Does not display the Antminer model, shows abnormal models like Antminer BHBXXXXX.

The firmware version is the factory version.

2. Solution

Upgrade to a dedicated standalone firmware based on the type of control board, then proceed to the official website for firmware updates.

3. Processing steps

Step 1. Confirm the type of control board.

Enter ip:/cgi-bin/miner_type.cgi in the browser (IP is the actual IP address of the Antminer). After pressing the Enter key to confirm, the following information will be returned. Look at the circle below, the prefix indicates the type of the control board, which can be BB, 7007, AML, CV, etc.

Step 2. Confirm the required firmware.

Based on the model number on the label and the type of control board you just identified, find the corresponding download link in the table below, download the firmware, and save it to your local computer.

Step 3. Firmware Upgrade.

Access the WEB interface of the product that cannot be upgraded via IP, and enter "root" as both the username and password:

After entering the WEB interface, select "System" and then "Firmware Upgrade":

In the firmware upgrade interface, select the standalone firmware you saved locally, as shown below:

Do not select "keep configuration." Instead, click on "firmware upgrade," as shown in the illustration below:

After successfully upgrading to the standalone firmware, simply follow these steps to upgrade to the latest firmware available on the official website.
