Antminer L7 PSU output voltage troubleshooting

After the Antminer L7 has been running for a long time, some common fault problems will occur. Through the miner running status recorded in the kernel log, the following fault problems regarding the power output voltage are found. For this problem, we need to first perform fault detection and then find a solution.

I. Fault Phenomenon Detection

1. The kernel log shows that 4 fans have been successfully detected and the speed is normal.

2. The PSU version detected is 0x78, and its set output voltage is 16V.

3. But here it tells us that the output voltage cannot reach 16V, reporting "power init error".

II. Fault Solution

1. It is recommended to first flash the L7 control board firmware according to the video tutorial.

2. If flashing the control board firmware cannot solve the problem, it is recommended to replace the 4Pin voltage regulator cable.

3. If the problem still cannot be repaired after replacing the 4Pin voltage regulator cable, power on the miner again, and as shown in the figure below, use a multimeter to check whether the power supply output voltage is normal. If the power output is abnormal, further troubleshooting of the PSU is required, and we can refer to the APW12 maintenance manual for troubleshooting.
