I. Miner pool configuration
The miner's mining pool configuration has 3 items: the mining address, the miner's name, and the password.
The mining address, which is generally provided by the mining pool.
Miner name, the sub-account registered for the mining pool.
Password is optional; if it is empty or filled at will, it will not affect mining.
II. Miner configuration options
There are 3 configuration options for miners, namely mining pool 1, mining pool 2, and mining pool 3, as shown in the following figure:
Why are miners configured with 3 mining pools?
When we are mining normally, only one mining pool is used, and two of the miners’ three mining pools are idle. When a miner is powered on, it first uses pool 1, switches to pool 2 when the connection of pool 1 is abnormal, and switches to pool 3 when pool 2 is abnormal.
How to fill these three mining pools?
In general mining pools, 3 mining addresses will be given, which can be copied directly. The disadvantage is that the mining farm will be closed when the mining pool is abnormal.
The first two mining pools are filled in the main mining pool, and the third mining pool is filled in a different mining pool. Compared with 1, miners will only be closed if two mining pools are abnormal simultaneously. The downside is that registration is required to manage both pools. However, it is recommended to fill in this method; refer to the figure below.
