This model is suitable for heat sink modifications and repair for Antminer S17 and Antminer S17 Pro.
Why do you need a modified heatsink for your Antminer S17?
Antmienr S17 often loses multiple heat sinks, which may cause the hash board to stop working with multiple chips failing or cause a short circuit to burn the hash board, and the S17 hash board needs to be replaced, resulting in greater losses. Even if the board passes without much damage, replacing every faulty BM1397 chip is expensive to maintain and chips are currently scarce. Compared to the cost of replacing multiple layered copper chips, the one-piece clip-on heatsink saves money and works better and lasts longer. More stable performance will be obtained.
The steps to fix the Antminer S17 hash board using the upgrade heatsink are as follows:
1. Remove the original heat sink;
2. Take out the BM1397AG / AD / AH / AI ASIC chip;
3. Clean up the hash board;
4. Fasten the screw fittings to the board;
5. Weld the hash board with a machine;
6. Add the thermal paste and screw the upgrade heatsink into place.
