Product description:

The RT6212A 2A, 18V, 500kHz is a high-efficiency, monolithic synchronous step-down DC-DC converter located on the Avalon A850 control board, delivering up to 2A output current from a 4.5V to 18V input supply. Its silk screen mark is 0B=*** and uses ACOT architecture to improve transient response and maintain a constant frequency. Cycle-by-cycle current limiting prevents output short circuits, and soft-start eliminates input current surges during startup. Its functions also include output under-voltage protection, output over-current protection and thermal shutdown.
