ETC miner Jasminer X16-Q Review

Miners also hope to obtain the highest mining efficiency while maintaining stable operation of the equipment. Jasminer X16-Q is a newly released miner by Jasminer in May 2023. It has won the attention of home and small office miners with its claimed high hash rate, low power consumption, and relatively quiet operating environment. This article will explore its performance under different hashing modes.

Evaluation

Jasminer X16 Q has 3 modes: high-performance mode, balanced mode, and efficiency mode. In order to deeply understand the performance of Jasminer X16-Q, we focused on three core indicators: temperature, power consumption, and hash rate to explore its performance in different working modes.

Temperature test

At an indoor temperature of 32.5°C and a humidity of 46%, we observed the following data:

High-performance mode: The air outlet temperature is 40.6°C, and the shell temperature is 32.3°C.

Balanced mode: The air outlet temperature is 33.4°C, and the shell temperature is 26.4°C.

Efficiency mode: The air outlet temperature is 32.4℃, and the shell temperature is 26.7℃.

Power consumption evaluation

High-performance mode: power consumption is 697.6W.

Balanced mode: Power consumption is 626.9W.

Efficiency mode: power consumption is 566.8W.

Although the actual power consumption in each mode is slightly higher than the 620±10%W stated by the manufacturer, these figures are still within a reasonable range.

Hash rate test

High-performance mode: mining ETC is 2090M, mining ETC+ZIL is 1920M.

Balanced mode: mining ETC is 1930M, mining ETC+ZIL is 1850M.

Efficiency mode: mining ETC is 1780M, mining ETC+ZIL is 1740M.

Comprehensive analysis

Overall, Jasminer X16-Q performs relatively robustly in different modes and successfully maintains a low noise level (less than 65db). Although the power consumption and noise have increased slightly, the overall performance is not much different from the official data and is still within the acceptable range. For miners looking for quiet mining equipment suitable for homes or offices, the Jasminer X16-Q is indeed worth considering. However, when making a purchase decision, miners will also need to weigh their higher initial investment against potential long-term returns and consider other options on the market.
