How to replace Whatsminer P221C PSU?

Whatsminer P221C PSU, used to power Whatsminer M50, M32, M31, M30, M30S, M30S+, M30S++, M20 series miners. Its input voltage is 220 to 240V AC, its rated current is 16A, and the output voltage is 12V. Its sophisticated design and specifications provide the miner with stable power, keep miners running at peak performance.

The power supply is the key to ensuring the normal operation of Whatsminer. If the P221C PSU fails, it will cause problems such as the cooling fan not running, the miner cannot starting, or the hash rate fluctuating. Once the miner PSU does not work, please immediately replace the new power supply to restore the normal operation of the miner.

Taking Whatsminer M50 as an example, follow these steps to replace the P221C PSU:

Disassembly the cover of the control board, disconnect the data cable connecting the control board to the power supply.

Unscrew the screws connecting the conductive copper bars between the P221C PSU and the hash board, then unscrew the fixing screws on both sides of the power supply.

Unplug the fan cable from the air outlet and remove the power supply.

After checking that the backup Whatsminer P221C PSU is intact, align the power supply with the screw holes of the miner case and fix it with screws.

Plug the air outlet fan cable into the power jack. Align the two conductive copper bars with the screw holes on the power output end, then tighten the screws of the conductive copper bars. When connecting the hash board, be sure to connect the positive and negative poles of the copper bar correctly. The screw washers that fix the copper bar must be aligned parallel to the edge of the copper bar. Otherwise it may cause a short circuit and damage the miner.

Connect the control board data cable to the PSU, then install the cover plate above the power supply. Turn on the PSU to start the M50 miner, check the miner's operating status, and ensure that the power supply is replaced successfully.
