The BP-H-3640 PSU is designed for Kaspa miners Iceriver KS3, KS3L, KS3M and KS5L. Its input voltage is 180V to 285V AC, the maximum current is 16A, and the output is 10.5V to 14V. This power supply unit is used to replace a failed IceRiver PSU, providing stable power to the miners and ensuring normal operation.
The performance of the miner's PSU may decline after a long period of operation, which will cause the miner to be unable to start and operate, affecting the miner's profitability. If the IceRiver miner has power abnormalities, we need to replace it with a new power supply in time.
This article will use the Iceriver KS3M miner as an example to explain the replacement steps of the BP-H-3640 PSU:
1. Turn off the switch button and cut off the power, remove the control board and PSU protection cover on the miner, and unplug all cables connected to the power supply unit;
2. Unscrew the fixing screw of the conductive copper bar, take out the power supply from the side rail of the miner box along the direction of the miner's air outlet;
3. After checking that the new backup PSU is intact, align it with the rails. Gently push it to its original position along the direction of the miner's air inlet, and tighten the fixing screws between the power supply and the conductive copper sheet;
4. Connect the corresponding cables to the power supply, and then install 2 protective covers;
5. Power on and turn on the power switch button. Check its operating status to ensure the miner can start and run normally.
In the competitive world of cryptocurrency mining, the efficiency and longevity of ASIC miners are of paramount importance. When a miner component is found to be faulty, we can use spare components to replace them in time to reduce downtime and avoid more losses.
