The APW12 1417 PSU, suitable for Antminer KS3, K7, L7, D7, S19XP, and other miners, is a high-quality air-cooled essential miner power supply launched by Bitmain, with an output voltage of 14V to 17V. It has two versions, a and b. Among them, version a is suitable for Antminer S19, S19XP, L7 and other miners, and version b is suitable for Antminer S19, K7, L7, DR7, KA3, KS3, HS3 and other miners; (Version b is compatible with version a, but version a is not compatible with version b).
The APW12 1417 PSU is the core component for the normal operation of the miner. Once a fault is discovered, we should immediately replace it with a new backup power supply to quickly restore the miner's hash rate operation and ensure the miner's normal income.
When the miner fails to start, suddenly loses power, or the fan does not run, it may be a fault in the miner's power supply unit. At this time, we should quickly replace the faulty power supply according to the following steps:
1. Disconnect the powering, remove the protective casing on top of the miner's PSU and control board;
2. Unscrew the fixing screws of the conductive copper sheet and the power supply, unplug all cables connected to the PSU, and push the power supply towards the miner's air outlet until it is removed;
3. After checking that the spare APW12 1417 PSU is in good condition, align the PSU with the buckle on the side of the chassis and press it gently to install the PSU into its original position;
4. Install the conductive copper sheet to the PSU's output port and tighten the screws, inserting all cables connected to the power supply;
5. Install the control board and power supply cover;
6. Power on the miner, check its operating status to ensure that the miner starts and runs normally.
Keep some spare APW12 1417 power supplies for miners, and promptly replace damaged power supplies to reduce losses caused by downtime.
