The optocoupler module online tester V5.0 is an efficient and precise instrument designed for testing optocoupler devices on the ASIC miner PSU, such as APW12, APW9+, P222C, P221C, PSU3300-03 and more other power supply. It boasts a compact size, simple operation, high-precision measurement capabilities, and excellent portability.
This optocoupler tester is equipped with flexible probes and a testing pad, allowing it to test optocouplers found in power supplies for Antminer, Whatsminer, Avalon, Innosilicon, and IceRiver. The testing pad can directly accommodate common DIP optocouplers, compatible with most 4-pin optocoupler online testing, including 817, 781, 521, and other DIP optocouplers.
How to use the optocoupler module online tester V5.0 to detect whether the optocoupler on the power supply is good or not?
Ensure that the board under test has been powered off and that the large electrolytic capacitors on the main board have been fully discharged.
Identify the No. 1 pin of the optocoupler, the test board will also have a corresponding No. 1 pin mark.
Connect the optocoupler tester to a USB power cord and use the probe to contact the optocoupler being tested. If the indicator light on the optocoupler tester flashes continuously, it indicates that the optocoupler is in good condition. There may be differences in the brightness of the indicator light, but as long as it flashes, it means the optocoupler is functional.
If the indicator light remains constantly lit or off, remove the optocoupler from the circuit board, insert it into the optocoupler socket of the tester, and confirm the test results again.
Notes:
Ensure good contact between the optocoupler tester and the optocoupler being tested during measurement.
It is strictly prohibited to test when the power board to be tested is powered on.
Applicable to 4-pin optocouplers; other types of optocouplers are not suitable for use at this time.
In addition, the optocoupler module online tester V5.0 can be used a Type-C data cable to power and test optocoupler modules on a computer.
