The control board is one of the most important parts of Iceriver KS3 or KS3L. When the Iceriver control board power cable fails or is damaged, it may cause a short circuit in the control board, making it unable to start normally. Even if the miner can start, the miner may experience failures such as a drop in hash rate and frequent restarts due to insufficient powering caused by the damaged control board power cord.
The Iceriver KS3 KS3L control board power cable can replace the old one that has failed, making the powering stable and the miner can operate normally. It is made of high-temperature resistant nylon material and has dual 6pin voltage regulating cables, suitable for connecting the power supply BP-H-3640 and the control board of KS3, KS3M, KS3L, KS5L, and other miners to help miners stabilize the power supply.
Steps to replace the control board power cable for the Iceriver KS3 or KS3L:
Power off the Iceriver KS3 or KS3L and use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws on the protective casing of the control board, and then remove it.
Find the power cable that connects the control board to the power supply and unplug it.
Connect the new control board power cable for the Iceriver KS3 or KS3L to the control board and the PSU.
Reinstall the protective casing and tighten the screws that were removed.
At this point, the installation of the control board's power cord is complete.
Note:
When replacing the Iceriver KS3 KS3L control board power cable, please keep the working environment dry and clean to avoid excessive temperature and humidity affecting the circuit.
Failure and damage to the control board power cable will cause the control board to short-circuit, the miner cannot start or run unstably, or even damage the miner itself. We must regularly check and maintain the control board power cable to avoid these failures, maintain the stable operation of the miner, and reduce economic losses.
