Prepare tools: Antminer L7 hash board heat sink stencil, thermal paste, scraper, L7 hash board, alcohol spray, dust cloth
Spray alcohol spray on the dust cloth, and then use the dust cloth to remove oxides, oil stains and other impurities on the surface of the L7 hash board.
After waiting for the surface of the hash board to dry, cover the Antminer L7 hash board heatsink stencil on the hash board.
Make sure that all holes of the heat sink stencil are on the corresponding ASIC chip position.
Take out the thermal paste and use a scraper to spread the thermal paste evenly from the center to the surroundings to form a thin coating. Pay special attention to the edges and corners to ensure that the thermal paste is evenly distributed without missing.
After the thermal paste is evenly applied, remove the heatsink stencil. Check whether the ASIC chip has a layer of thermal paste film that fits it perfectly, and whether there are gaps or offsets.
Note:
When applying thermal paste, avoid applying it to other electronic components other than the chip, otherwise it may cause a short circuit.
If bubbles, impurities or uneven application are found, they should be cleaned and adjusted in time with a scraper or other application tools.
During the operation, be gentle to avoid damage to the ASIC chip or heatsink stencil.
