How to install the Antminer silencer box?

Air-cooled miners rely on the high-speed operation of cooling fans for heat dissipation, and it is inevitable to generate noise interference during this process. The Antminer silencer box is a noise-reduction device carefully designed to effectively solve this problem. The upgraded noise reducer box is covered with a thickened layer of fireproof and soundproof cotton both inside and outside, significantly enhancing the mute effect and creating a quieter mining environment for users.

Usage method:

Product list: Antminer silencer box, aluminum foil hose, air-cooled shroud, metal clip, fan speed simulators (for replacing the case cooling fans and PSU fans), fixed screws

Note: The universal Antminer silencer box can be used for all miners except E9 E9pro. And the installation method is consistant.

1. Power off the miner. After the machine cools down, remove the protective cover plates on the case top.

2. Unplug the fan plugs, then remove the cooling fans on both sides of the chassis, and select the matching fan speed simulators to insert into the fan interfaces on the control board.

3. Next, remove the PSU unit along the direction of the air outlet.

4. Open the protective cover plate of the power supply, remove the fixed screws of the PSU fans, then unplug the fan plugs connected to the motherboard, and remove the original PSU fans.

5. Insert the PSU fan speed simulators into the original fan interfaces, then re-install the power supply protective cover plate.

6. Install the PSU back into the chassis. Subsequently, fix the top's protective cover plates.

7. To facilitate the placement of the miner, the baffle on the air outlet side of the silencer box needs to be removed first. Place the air inlet of the miner facing inward, carefully align it with the fixed aluminum frame, and then install the side plate that was removed earlier.

8. Pass the power cord and network cable of the miner through the wire hole of the soundproof box, and then insert them into the corresponding interfaces.

9. Fix the air-cooled shroud at the air outlet of the silencer box with screws, place the metal clip through the shroud, then connect the aluminum foil hose, and tighten the screws of the clip to fix the hose.

10. Finally, fix the cover plate above the soundproof box to complete the installation.

11. First, power on the silencer box and select the appropriate fan speed gear according to the ambient temperature (When the ambient temperature is low, usually select low speed or medium speed; if is high, select high speed); then turn on the miner to observe its operating status through the background log.

The silencer box can not only help the miner achieve efficient heat dissipation but also greatly reduce the noise generated during its operation, making the mining process more energy-saving and environmentally friendly.
