TNY284DG Energy-Efficient Off-Line Switcher With line-compensated overload power protection, the TNY284DG significantly reduces the maximum overload variation over the universal input voltage range without the need for additional components. Maximum output power is limited under overload fault conditions in applications such as PC standby and CV adapters. 725V rated MOSFET for easy 80% derating for high reflected voltage and high bus voltage designs. The BP/M pins allow the MOSFET current limit to be adjusted up or down, allowing designers to optimize power delivery and efficiency across various physical implementations. The on-time extension feature extends the low-line regulation range, allowing hold-up time to accommodate lower input capacitance values. This device is used for servicing switches in ASIC miner power supply units.
