Product description:

AZ1117CH-2.5TRG1 2.5V 800MA is a low-dropout three-terminal regulator on Avalon 8 series PMU board that provides current limit and thermal shutdown to ensure output voltage accuracy within ±1%. In addition, on-chip thermal shutdown protects against excessive junction temperatures caused by a combination of high current and ambient temperature. It is optimized for low voltage where transient response and minimum input voltage are critical. The device is available in a 2.5V fixed output voltage version and an ADJ output voltage version, and it is packaged in the industry standard SOT223.
