In June 2022, Bitmain released its new flagship miner Antminer E9, specially designed for Ethash-based cryptocurrencies. The Antminer E9 (2.4Gh) can use both ETHash and ETCHash algorithms for mining, the maximum hash rate is 2.4Gh/s, and the power consumption is 1920W. This is the latest generation of high-performance miners for Ethereum and Ethereum Classic mining.

Bitmain Antminer E9 uses the Ethash algorithm for ETH/ETC mining, offering the lowest price per unit hash rate for Ethereum mining with a power efficiency of 0.8J/M.
