TPIC6C595N is an 8-bit shift register designed for systems that require relatively medium load power. Power driver applications include relays, solenoids and other low current or medium voltage loads. The device contains an 8-bit serial input parallel output shift register that supplies power to the 8-bit D-type storage register. Data is transmitted through the shift register and the storage register on the rising edges of the shift register clock and the register clock respectively. The device transmits data from the serial output port on the rising edge of SRCK. When the shift register is cleared to a high level, the storage register transfers the data to the output buffer.
