According to reports, the Bitcoin mining hardware market and hosting service provider Compass Mining announced on Tuesday that it would host a new 140 megawatt (MW) Bitcoin mining facility in Ontario, Canada, which will be 95% powered by “clean energy.” Compass CEO Whit Gibbs said it would take at least one year to introduce the total 140 MW capacity, and the mining machine will start to go online at the end of January 2022 and reach the planned capacity at the end of the year.
