New 6MW solar-powered bitcoin mine begins in Colorado

Bitcoin miner Aspen Creek Digital Corporation has reportedly started mining Bitcoin at a 6MW solar power plant in western Colorado. It will also host the miners of cryptocurrency financial services firm Galaxy Digital. In addition, a Bitmain Antminer S19 bitcoin miner was deployed in the Colorado data center. "Despite the bear market in cryptocurrencies, new players have entered the mining industry," commented the media. Recently, Adam Back's Blockstream and Jack Dorsey's Block said they are building a pilot crypto mine in Texas powered by Tesla solar installations and batteries.
