On June 6th, Bitcoin technology company Blockstream announced a partnership with payment giant Square to build a solar-powered Bitcoin mining facility in the United States. The purpose of the plan is to emphasize how Bitcoin accelerates the adoption of green energy. The project will receive a $5 million investment from Square.
