Blockstream launches renewable energy mining service.

According to news, Bitcoin and blockchain infrastructure company Blockstream has launched Blockstream Energy, a new service designed to provide energy producers with a service to sell excess electricity to proof-of-work miners. Combined with the connection provided by Blockstream satellites, this new service aims to expand the potential scope of Bitcoin mining to renewable energy, even in remote areas. Blockstream Mining provides Bitcoin mining equipment for institutional and corporate clients. It also provides hosting services, where mining equipment is deployed, and then complete control of the rig is handed over to the customer.
