Notice on the collection of Demand Surcharge for International Express

Due to the increase in shipment volume, reduction in flights, and increased demand for transportation capacity, international express shipping companies, including DHL, FedEx, and UPS, will start to levy a Demand Surcharge (Peak season surcharge) from September 16, 2024, to January 31, 2025, to ensure stable operations during the period of high demand (peak season).

The surcharge will be calculated based on the origin and destination of the shipment, in RMB per kilogram.

1. DHL Express Demand Surcharge Collection Standard:

Applicable Services: DHL Express Worldwide, DHL Express 12:00, DHL Express 10:30, DHL Express 9:00, DHL Medical Express, DHL Breakbulk Express, DHL Express Easy.
