According to sources, Bitmain has reached a Bitcoin mining custody agreement with data center and energy partners Bit5ive and ISW Holdings, which will store 56,000 Antminers in Georgia, the United States. According to a statement on Wednesday, the entire mining team will use 200 megawatts of capacity when fully deployed in October 2022. The two companies said that the first 20 MW capacity is expected to be produced next month. It is reported that the miner used in the transaction is Bitmain's latest generation of the Antminer S19 series, with an average computing power of 100 TH/s. When fully deployed, the entire mining team will have a computing power of approximately 5.6 EH/s. ISW Holdings stated that the cost of launching and activating these mining facilities totaled $62 million, of which $6 million has been paid.
