According to reports, the new details of Uniswap's next iteration, v3, were made public on Tuesday. Uniswap V3 is expected to be launched on Ethereum on May 5th, and on Optimism in mid-May. V3 focuses on enabling decentralized exchanges to improve capital efficiency as much as possible. According to the official article, Uniswap v3 introduces concentrated liquidity, allowing each LP to finely control the price range of its capital allocation, as well as multiple fee levels, allowing LPs to be appropriately compensated for taking different degrees of risk. Compared with Uniswap v2, LP's capital efficiency for providing liquidity will be as high as 4000 times. In addition, the Uniswap v3 core will be launched under Business Source License 1.1. The license limits the use of v3 source code in a commercial or production environment to two years, at which time it will be permanently converted to a GPL license.
