Dillman Felicita, chairman, and CEO of the American restaurant chain Landry's, told CNBC that most of his restaurant chains would soon accept Bitcoin as a payment method. In an interview on the "Power Lunch" show, the billionaire described this move as an "inevitable" step in mainstreaming cryptocurrencies. Fertitta said that in the next 90 days, we might use it in 80% to 90% of brands. Consumers can use Bitcoin or other digital currencies instead of credit cards, Visa, or American Express. Some locations of Mastro's, one of the high-end concept restaurants under Landry, with more than a dozen branches in the United States, began accepting Bitcoin this week. The company's other brands include Morton's The Steakhouse and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
