Cryptocurrency mining company BIT Mining Limited announced yesterday that it had signed a legally binding investment clause with Dory Creek, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bitfawn. The two parties will jointly invest in constructing a cryptocurrency mining data center in Texas, the United States. According to the terms, the company plans to invest a total of US$25.74 million to jointly build and operate a mine with a load of 57.2 MW with Dory Creek. The Dezhou mine proposed to be built this time will use more than 85% of clean energy and low-carbon environmentally friendly energy for power generation. With the optimization of the power structure of the Texas power grid, the proportion of clean energy will further increase.
