According to reports, registered investment adviser Viridi Funds has launched a new exchange-traded fund (ETF) that invests in cryptocurrency mining companies that are turning to cleaner energy sources. The fund will be traded on the Arca platform of the New York Stock Exchange with a management fee of 0.9%, which is higher than most ETFs but lower than most closed-end crypto funds. 80% of the fund will be invested in publicly traded miners who have switched to nuclear or renewable energy or are trying to offset their carbon emissions with carbon credits, while 20% will be invested in semiconductors that also use clean energy.
