The tipping function will rely entirely on third-party payment services, such as the Strike app. Twitter will integrate the Strike Bitcoin Lightning Wallet service so that creators can receive Bitcoin rewards. The company will also allow users to add their Bitcoin addresses to send and receive these cryptocurrency tips. The integration is only available to iOS users and will be available to Android users in the coming weeks. In addition, Twitter also plans to launch an NFT verification function, allowing users to verify and display their collected NFT on Twitter. This particular product is still in its early stages.
