Uruguay will install its first cryptocurrency ATM

According to reports, Punta del Este is located in southeastern Uruguay and is the southern hemisphere's center of summer social activities. In early 2022, the city will have the first cryptocurrency automated teller machine (UTM) in this South American country. According to the local companies inBierto and Urubit responsible for manufacturing this machine, UTM will trade Uruguay's cryptocurrencies Urubit and Ferret Token. Users can convert these "tokens" into other cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Tether, and they can also sell their cryptocurrencies and receive money at market prices.
