According to reports, Columbia-based TAAL is buying a 100% stake in Chief Fuels in New Brunswick, Canada, to obtain a warehouse, which it plans to transform into a Bitcoin mine with a capacity of up to 50MW. The transaction is for TAAL stocks currently valued at approximately US$16.5 million. If TAAL completes its plan, the transaction will build a second Bitcoin mine in Grand Falls, a population of less than 6,000.
