Pakistan's provincial government launches two state-owned Bitcoin mining farms
The government of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province (KP) announced the launch of two state-owned Bitcoin mining farms. This signifies that the government will use its own funds to mine Bitcoin (and profit from it). Ziaullah Bangas, adviser to the chief minister of KP, said that the legislative bill supporting the operation has been passed in the provincial assembly. (Decrypt)
