According to reports, Australian crypto miner Mawson Infrastructure Group said that its operating computing power exceeds 1 EH/s and is on track to reach 1.1 EH/s by the end of January, about 38% higher than the computing power in November 2021. According to data analytics firm Glassnode, as of Jan. 18, Mawson’s computing power was about 0.6 percent of the Bitcoin network’s computing power (162.6 EH/s). Mawson also stated that its daily bitcoin production is 5.8 BTC and is on track to increase its hashrate to 3.35 EH/s in the second quarter of 2022 and 5 EH/s in the first quarter of 2023.
