According to a report from ECO, Spanish startup BitBase plans to open two stores in Portugal for customers to buy and sell cryptocurrencies and install ATMs. One has already opened in Lisbon, and the other will be in Porto. The brick-and-mortar store in Lisbon, set to open on January 24, will have several "ATM"-type machines for buying bitcoin and seven other cryptocurrencies. The startup said it would be the country's first cryptocurrency-focused brick-and-mortar store.
