HIVE Blockchain will buy Intel chips to integrate into its mining rigs

According to reports, Canadian miner HIVE Blockchain has announced a supply agreement with Intel Corporation to purchase Intel’s new high-performance ASIC chips that will be integrated into mining equipment customized for HIVE. Additionally, HIVE Blockchain announced that it had signed a letter of intent with Compute North to host 100 megawatts of mining power at its new Texas Renewable Energy data center facility. The facility will be HIVE Blockchain’s first mining operation in the United States.
