Intel: Intel Blockscale ASIC Bitcoin mining chips will ship in the third quarter

According to reports, Intel announced that the new Bitcoin mining chip Intel Blockscale ASIC will be shipped in the third quarter of this year. The chip will support up to 580 GH/s hash rate and 26 J/TH of power. According to Intel, they have been researching Bitcoin mining for decades to improve the energy efficiency of proof-of-work (PoW) mining, according to the blockchain and business solutions general manager of Intel's Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group. Manager Jose Rios said: that Intel Blockscale ASIC chips will help bitcoin mining companies achieve sustainable computing power expansion goals in the next few years. However, Intel said it would only provide customers with chips, not total ASIC miners. Argo Blockchain, Block, Inc., Hive Blockchain, and GRIID Infrastructure are among the first crypto mining companies to receive Intel chips.
