Crypto Miner Bit Digital Signs Agreement with BitMine to Host 7,000 Bitcoin Miners

Crypto miners Bit Digital and BitMine Immersion Technologies have reportedly signed a document to establish a custody relationship that will initially include 7,000 ASIC miners. New York-based Bit Digital shifted its focus to North America a few months ago. Bit Digital and BitMine Immersion plan to start delivering ASIC miners in the coming weeks and months and reach projected capacity by August. Bitmain’s latest Antminers start at $7,500, so the protocol could be worth $50 million and $60 million. The two companies plan to mine bitcoin primarily in immersion cooling vessels, which keep the machines cool, increasing output and energy efficiency.
