The Georgia House of Representatives has passed a bill to re-encrypt currency research in high school courses. The bill is amended to provide courses for students in grades 10 and 11 currently. The new curriculum will include 16 new areas of financial knowledge, such as cryptocurrency, and traditional subjects such as balancing checking accounts, fund management, investment, and loan applications. Once the bill becomes law, each local education committee will have to implement the required minimum study plan from the 2021-2022 school year.
