According to reports, Spain currently has 215 crypto ATMs, accounting for 0.6% of the global crypto ATM installations. This has pushed El Salvador (with 212 crypto ATMs) to fourth place after the United States and Canada. In the European market, Spain accounted for 14.65% of encrypted ATMs, followed by Switzerland (144 ATMs), Poland (142 ATMs), and Romania (135 ATMs). Greece ranked sixth in terms of the number of encrypted ATMs in Europe. Spain is reported to have installed 43 crypto ATMs in 2022 alone, having previously stated that it intends to install at least 100 ATMs by the end of the year, bringing the total to nearly 300 once completed.
