According to reports, a coffee shop in downtown Vancouver, Canada opened the world’s first Bitcoin ATM, which was operated by Robocoin and completed 348 transactions in the first week with a total value of $100,000. As of October 30, 2022 (nine years and one day later), Robocoin has ceased operations and the first crypto ATM may have been removed or replaced. But according to Coin ATM Radar data, the number of crypto ATMs around the world continues to increase, and there are currently 38,804 crypto ATMs. However, global crypto ATM centers have shifted, with Canada coming in second with a 6.6% share.
