El Salvador is reportedly focused on the mass adoption of Bitcoin even amid the crypto winter. A video shows students being educated about Bitcoin in classrooms. Once students become adult citizens and begin to contribute to the country, the Bitcoin education they receive at a young age may drive the mass adoption and use of cryptocurrencies. Teachers from El Salvador taught students about Bitcoin during the ten-week course, showing how to receive Bitcoin through the Lightning Network, and also covered nodes, double spending, and Bitcoin halving. El Salvador’s Bitcoin education project, My First Bitcoin, claims to have educated more than 10,000 students in 2022 and aims to teach 250,000 students by 2023.
